Mark Correll Joins HDR as Federal Practice Strategy Director

HDR is pleased to announce Mark Correll as the new strategy director for the company’s federal practice.

In his new role, Correll will spearhead the development of strategic action plans, review key strategic objectives and ensure goals are translated into actionable and qualitative methods to capture opportunities that emerge from anticipated future program directions.

He will work across all market sectors and assume a key subject matter expert role in HDR’s advisory services practice.

Correll brings decades of civil engineering leadership technical expertise. He most recently served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Environment, Safety and Occupational Health, where he provided executive leadership on formulation, review and execution of plans, policies, programs, and budgets for Air Force-built and natural infrastructure.

“I am excited to join the HDR family and focus on developing strategies that continue HDR’s superb client service today and incorporate anticipated technical, policy, and cultural changes to grow long term,” Correll said.

Correll is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned his Master of Science degree in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the Society of American Military Engineers.
