Mary Jane Van Horn Joins HDR as Health Planning Principal

Mary Jane Van Horn, RA, has joined HDR’s health planning team as a health planning principal in the New York City architecture studio.

In this role, Van Horn will be responsible for project team leadership and facility planning for the pursuit and delivery of healthcare projects. She will help analyze and balance clients’ needs with architectural solutions while consulting teams on the latest healthcare delivery advancements in the New York region and beyond.

They offer clients a multi-tiered approach to project solving and delivery,” Van Horn said. “I had heard many good things about the company from colleagues who had joined the HDR team so when it came time to look for my next adventure, HDR was the first place I looked.”

Van Horn brings more than 25 years of medical planning experience to HDR. Prior to joining HDR, she was a principal and medical planning director with HOK. Originally from Orlando, Van Horn received her Bachelor of Science in design from the University of Florida and a Masters of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology. She became licensed in New York and has spent her career planning complex healthcare projects domestically and internationally.
