Adam supports the strategic planning, organizational assessment, workforce planning, integrated water resources planning, infrastructure master planning, and asset management needs of local governments and utilities. 

He specializes in leading efforts that set the strategic direction of future growth for organizations. He has guided many utilities in making informed systems-level decisions.

By incorporating uncertainty and risk in the planning and decision-making process and using techniques such as probabilistic analysis via Monte Carlo simulation, Adam helps provide a comprehensive understanding of risk and reliability that creates a more resilient community and utility.

An active member of North Caroline American Water Works Association, Adam is Chair of the North Carolina Water Resouces Committee, planning the tri-state Confluence Conference for North Carolina, South Caroline and Georgia. He regularly presents on planning topics at national conferences, including the Utility Management Conference and the Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities.
