Dan Williamson, AIA, NCARB
Computational Design Lead
As part of HDR’s global consulting practice, Dan spearheads project efforts relating to computational design and virtual experiences. He helps project teams plan computational design implementations, integrate virtual experiences, develop research opportunities, visualize complex data and create custom workflows between the different consulting service lines.
A licensed architect and digital design leader of computation, Dan is passionate about continually evolving the design process. Earning a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, he is fascinated with “making” in all forms, from 3D printing to the making of space, and most recently in the making of virtual reality experiences.
Dan previously was the Digital Design Leader for Computation as part of the Practice Innovation Team, working with project teams to innovate and implement computational workflows and strategies.
