With over 33 years of experience planning laboratories for teaching, research and manufacturing, Jack is a nationally recognized expert in laboratory planning and programming for physical sciences and engineering research. When programming facilities, he works closely with the laboratory users to develop detailed and effective designs. Jack is particularly adept at successfully co-locating multiple disciplines; producing efficient, flexible laboratory designs that further collaborative transdisciplinary research approaches.
His portfolio contains projects from around the world, including collegiate academic and research buildings, nanotechnology research buildings, microelectronics facilities and several prominent Department of Energy laboratories for the U.S. Government. A recognized leader in the industry, Jack has been published in Controlled Environments, American Laboratory and several other publications. He also frequently speaks on topics ranging from global trends in designing for science to practical strategies for cleanroom, nanotechnology and core facility design.
