Pete Marshall, P.E., PTOE

As our intelligent transportation systems technology program development lead, Pete helps clients navigate the fast-evolving confluence of communications technology, smart mobility and infrastructure. He works across our global ITS practice, helping to deliver safer, smarter and more equitable transportation for clients and creating an environment in which our staff continue their technical development.

Pete’s diverse background includes experience in program and system management, operations and maintenance; system procurement and integration; software development; connected vehicles, electronic tolling; traffic signal timing and operations; traffic analysis and simulation modeling; infrastructure design and systems engineering. He has a unique perspective in ITS technologies, having spent equal parts of his career in the consulting world and the software and system vendor community.

In addition to his proactive management of large, complex programs, Pete provides his technical expertise throughout project delivery as needed. He is active in the industry and a frequent presenter at transportation and ITS technology conferences.
