Ronald has specialized in the design and delivery of major private and public healthcare facilities for over 30 years. This includes experience in Australia, Africa and the Middle East. His portfolio ranges from conceptual, clinical planning and strategic studies, through to on-site delivery as project director on some of Australia’s most significant and complex hospitals such as Liverpool Hospital Redevelopment, Westmead Hospital Redevelopment and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
He has extensive master planning experience in the urban and regional context and is also well versed in contemporary best practice clinical planning. More recently, Ronald has worked on the design and delivery of cancer care facilities, including the multi-award winning Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
He is the recipient of a number of prestigious architectural awards and served as a judge at the World Architecture Festival in Singapore in 2015 and in Berlin in 2016. Ronald also is a frequent presenter at local and international health design conferences.
