Senior Environmental Scientist
Sherri is a senior environmental scientist with a diverse background involving environmental permitting, water resources, climate science, and sustainability. She is a soil and water scientist, wetland and wildlife ecologist, and a project manager. She holds credentials as a Professional Wetland Scientist and an Envision Sustainability Professional and is a Florida-licensed Gopher Tortoise Agent.
Sherri frequently collaborates with planners, engineers, academics and other scientists to develop, permit, and negotiate sustainable and resilient solutions for infrastructure projects. Her day-to-day operations involve interpreting regulations, preparing federal, state and local permit applications, negotiating permit conditions, and monitoring permit compliance. This requires attention to detail, as well as a reputation of trust and collaboration with agencies.
She regularly authors environmental documents, including climate resiliency plans, and manages projects involving wetland mitigation, habitat restoration, and protected wildlife studies and relocations.
