Steve Radomski, AIA, LEED AP
Northwest Region Manager, Vehicle O&M Facility Design
Steve’s background in architecture, when paired with his penchant for problem solving, makes him sharply aware of how the quality and organization of one’s workspace can impact productivity, efficiency and workflow. Consequently, Steve’s passionate about collaborating with clients to plan and design high-quality, functional and efficient work environments. And with nearly 40 years of industry experience, he has focused his passion the past two decades on creating highly innovative and sustainable operations and maintenance facilities.
Steve contributed to industry-first projects such as the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (TRANSPO)’s Emil “Lucky” Reznik Operations Facility in South Bend, Indiana — one of the first two O&M Facilities ever to earn a LEED Platinum rating for sustainability.
Steve views each project as an opportunity to think creatively and improve on what’s been done in the past. “Many facilities follow designs concieved 60 years ago,” Steve said. “It’s gratifying to help clients and their employees learn what thoughtful, innovative facility design can make possible in this day and age.”
Steve is a past chair of the Member Services Committee for the American Public Transportation Association and remains active with APTA as well as the American Institute of Architects and the American Public Works Association.
