IPD Super Teams Hit Jackpot for Clients

Integrated project delivery has proven to be beneficial to project budget bottom lines. A Building Design + Construction Magazine feature article, “IPD Super Teams Hit Jackpot for Clients,” highlights the Advocate Aurora Health Outpatient Collaborative, a high-powered IPD team that has delivered numerous outpatient centres throughout Illinois and Wisconsin over the past seven years.

With 10 projects completed in one year, the ILPD team achieved 14% cost savings with five of those projects achieving savings between 16-28%. In the article, HDR Director of Alternative Delivery Mike Doiel said, “We’ve found that putting skin in the game brings these contracts to another level … People do things on IPD projects that aren’t normal; they look out for each other."
