China Resources is a Fortune 500 company with businesses in the food, beverage, retail, petroleum, real estate, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Recent acquisitions have also positioned the company near the top of the biomedical industry in China. HDR is providing planning and design services to assemble the recently acquired companies on an approximately 72-hectare greenfield site in the Daxing district of Beijing. The integrated site will include R&D and manufacturing for traditional Chinese medicines, pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals and medical diagnostic equipment. It will also be anchored around a technology innovation center. The planned state-of-the-art facilities are aimed at establishing China Resources' prominence as a global provider of diagnostic equipment and medicines.
