Education and Science Principal

As education and science principal, Joel is a natural leader who coordinates multidisciplinary project teams to deliver outstanding results for our clients. He fosters creativity and cooperation from all team members, allowing them to integrate diverse ideas and perspectives into each project. 

He carries an innate curiosity which has driven him to excel at a wide variety of project types over his career, including higher education living and learning facilities and urban renewal mixed-use developments. He is especially passionate about adaptive reuse projects.

Joel has been recognized for his work on the Bergamot Station and Galleries project and won a Society for College and University Planning Excellence in Architecture award for the Princeton University Firestone Library renovation. He is also an architect guest juror at the University of Southern California and an ACE Los Angeles mentor at Venice High School.
