Nathan Pingel, PE, BC.WRE, PMP

Nathan leads our surface water hydrology and hydraulics practice with a focus of improving project delivery and team connectivity.

Based in our Sacramento office, Nathan is passionate about solving complex water resource challenges in ways that enhance value for our clients and projects. This includes integrating data, information and tools, such as models and computer programs, to craft solutions.

His expertise spans watershed, channel and flood risk analyses, including developing work plans and problem-solving strategies. And his projects range from designing flood warning systems to conducting reservoir re-operation studies. He's tackled concurrent flood challenges in multiriver regions and overseen systemwide hydrology and hydraulics, and risk analyses.

Nathan has published several articles and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Floodplain Management Association, serving in leadership roles and participating in annual conferences.
