With more than 18 years of experience in the planning, design and delivery of justice facilities, Nil brings deep technical knowledge and a steady leadership approach to his role as Justice Principal. No matter the scale — from small to large, multimillion-dollar projects — he consistently guides multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, award-winning work.
During his time at HDR, Nil has overseen project execution, team coordination, consultant management and client engagement across all phases of delivery. Clients value his ability to balance scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining a clear design vision, and colleagues rely on his mentorship and practical guidance.
Nil is committed to creating justice facilities that are humane, operationally effective and supportive of all users. Driven by the belief that the built environment can meaningfully improve lives, his approach blends thoughtful leadership, empathy and disciplined project planning to create environments that promote dignity, reduce stress and positively influence long-term outcomes. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ) and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
