Tara is responsible for the performance, growth and strategic direction of our transportation business across Canada, overseeing multidisciplinary teams delivering complex transportation and transit programs for public sector clients nationwide.

With deep experience in municipal and regional transportation infrastructure, Tara plays a central role in building our transportation practice in Canada, supporting the expansion of services across transit, highways, bridges and aviation. She is known for setting a high bar for quality, accountability, and client service, and for assembling teams that consistently deliver at the highest standard on complex, high-risk programs, most notably the Ontario Line in Toronto, one of our largest transportation initiatives undertaken. 

Her experience spans environmental assessments, transit planning, infrastructure asset management, and public and stakeholder engagement. She is respected for guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex regulatory and consultation processes, helping projects move forward with clarity and alignment while maintaining rigorous standards.

In addition to her role at HDR, Tara serves on the board of directors of the WTS Toronto Chapter and the Workforce Development Committee for the Transportation Association of Canada. Through this involvement, she contributes practical, delivery-focused insight to conversations shaping the future of the profession.
