Signature Design

Investa’s flagship commercial office tower development, Coca-Cola Place, delivered a dramatic new icon to the North Sydney CBD and represented the first completed 6 Star Green Star Office Design v2 rated high-rise office building in NSW. The iconic structure comprises a set of layered elements responding to the surrounding heritage-listed Mary Mackillop Place buildings, the streetscape, natural environment and city skyline, whilst delivering an innovative and sustainable working environment.

Signature features of the design include the delicate wing of glass that defines the southern facade and the dramatic, angular and cranked shape to the facade itself. The glass wing appears suspended in front of the building and provides a sense of lightness, transparency and intrigue heightened by the use of more transparent glass in the south facing skin. Art and its interpretation of history are also key components of the design.
