Principal Engineer and Associate Director
Matthew is a chartered civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in the planning, development and design of road infrastructure projects. He has worked within state roads agencies in Queensland and New South Wales, as well as consultancies providing services to state government and construction clients throughout Australia. His background is in highway design, transport planning, traffic engineering and road safety. Matthew has a great deal of experience working in complex environments where he has undertaken various roles on major highway upgrade projects.
He brings a deep understanding of urban highway design as well as the design of urban motorway tunnels through his previous project experience. He firmly believes in an open and honest approach to team relationships and collaboration. He also has a detailed understanding of exactly what is required to deliver safe, practical and constructable designs, developed through his experience in design & construct and Alliance projects as well as significant road safety experience.
Additionally, Matthew is a senior road safety auditor with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
