Brandon Joy

As project controls director, Brandon leads a practice of skilled professionals who deliver project management services across all phases — from planning and design through construction and post-construction. His team’s expertise spans scheduling, forensic delay analysis, cost estimating and management, document control, contract and risk management and the development of project management information systems and dashboards. 

Brandon has built his career around the successful delivery of major engineering and construction projects, with a strong focus on project controls and commercial management. His experience encompasses a variety of delivery models, including design-bid-build, program management and alternative delivery methods such as design-build and public-private partnerships. 

During his tenure as our commercial management director, Brandon established a robust community of practice, implementing standardized processes, comprehensive training programs and mentoring initiatives that continue to strengthen HDR’s commercial management capabilities.
