With over 30 years of experience working in healthcare and health education, Brenda's journey began in nursing, providing her with an unparalleled understanding of patient care. This deep-rooted knowledge has seamlessly integrated into her design philosophy, marking her commitment to creating optimal health workplace environments with a focus on the well-being of both patients and providers. 

As health education director, Brenda plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our medical education design practice. Her vision extends beyond the present, aiming to broaden our expertise in the health science and medical education markets. Her goal is to equip the next generation of learners with the skills necessary to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of clinical practice. 

Brenda's leadership skills in programming, planning and defining project visions testify to her ability to drive innovation. She champions the connection between people and spaces, empowering teams to embrace exploration and develop design solutions that exceed initial expectations. Her approach prioritizes foundational skills for future care providers and ensures that the education spaces we design meet the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. 

Based in our Atlanta architecture studio, Brenda is an active member of the local design community. She serves on the Women in Healthcare Georgia Chapter board and chairs its justice, equity, diversity and inclusion committee. She is also a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, the International Interior Design Association and the Society of Colleges and University Planning. Her dedication to health education and her impact on the design industry through volunteerism reflect her commitment to shaping a future where healthcare delivery and learning environments are synonymous with excellence and innovation.
