Social Scientist
Luke brings a rigorous, data-driven approach to understanding how people interact with the built environment. He leverages his background in political science, statistics and project management to apply advanced methodologies, uncovering insights that help clients make informed, human-centered decisions.
Based in our Denver architecture studio, Luke is a trusted resource for translating complex data into meaningful strategies as part of our Social and Behavioral Sciences team. From designing studies and developing survey instruments to analyzing data and delivering actionable findings, his expertise supports a wide range of client needs, including community impact assessments, post-occupancy evaluations and behavior change research.
His portfolio includes impactful work such as evaluating behavior change through design at the Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation and his post-occupancy evaluation work for the new Patient Pavilion at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
In addition to his project work, Luke contributes to the broader research community through active involvement with the American Association of Public Opinion Research and has published in respected journals, including Political Research Quarterly and Survey Methods: Insights from the Field. He is passionate about using data to solve real-world problems and is committed to elevating the role of social science in infrastructure and design.
