A trusted design voice and studio leader specializing in public sector projects, Robinson leverages more than 18 years of global design experience working with large, multidisciplinary teams on complex deliverables. Through her own early career experiences and work with AIA Virginia, she has developed a keen focus on mentorship and advocacy, championing diversity in the profession and transparent communications with emerging professionals beginning careers in architecture.

“Motivated by her own professional path and ability to overcome obstacles in her career, Gina engages with aspiring architects at all stages of their journey," said Michael Deming, technical section lead at HDR. "Seeing opportunities where others may see obstacles, Gina applies a thoughtful and inclusive approach to foster the growth and success of others.”

With a deep appreciation for diverse ways of thinking informed by 15 years of experience designing in Omaha, New York, Hong Kong and Paris, Williams understands the importance of questioning assumptions. Whether mentoring, teaching or leading design, he approaches each project as an opportunity to learn, experiment and improve. At the core of his work is a belief that meaningful environments emerge from curiosity, careful listening and willingness to rethink the expected.

"What has impressed me most is the way Tim translates what he learns into design," said Christi Janssen, executive director of the Durham Museum. "His sketches and concepts have opened our eyes to new possibilities for the museum — ways we can better serve the public, connect with the city, and honor our past while planning for the future. Throughout the process, he’s remained responsive and collaborative, always welcoming feedback and refining ideas to reflect our collective vision.”
