Bryan Jones, P.E., D.PE

Bryan focuses on developing our ports & maritime practice in the Northeast region of the USA. Before joining HDR in 2013, he spent much of his 28-year career underwater, working as an engineer-diver. He inspected and designed repairs for bridges, marine terminals, shoreline protection works, and other waterfront structures. 

Bryan first became interested in sustainability (and resiliency, in particular) in 2011, after surveying the widespread destruction in many Japanese coastal cities following the Great Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. He is active in professional organizations, such as the American Society of Civil Engineers Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute.
