Highways Team Lead
As the highways team lead, Clarissa leverages her broad base of people, project management and technical skills combined with her industry experience to lead the highways team for development, growth and success. Her experience and industry knowledge drive a sustainable, successful highways team, working with our exceptional technical leaders to grow our team capability and experience across all levels.
Clarissa is a principal civil engineer with over 13 years of experience in the planning, development, and design of road infrastructure projects. She has worked within local governments in Queensland as well as consulting, providing services to local and state government and construction clients. Clarissa’s background is in road and highway design, project management, stormwater and drainage design, hydraulic modelling, transport planning, and asset management. She has been involved in all stages of the project life cycle and brings a comprehensive understanding of project delivery.
Her most recent experience is as the project manager and civil engineering lead for the design of the Coomera Connector Stage 1: Smith Street Motorway to Nerang – Broadbeach Road. In these roles, Clarissa first led the civil team through value engineering, preliminary and detailed design. Following the successful delivery of the initial project phases, she led the entire team through finalising the detailed design and construction support.
