John Marrow

John joined HDR in 2021 as global client development director for building engineering services.

Before joining HDR, John’s professional career has seen him amass extensive international experience in Asia, Europe, North America and Africa. His skills in project and operations management, mergers and acquisitions, integration, transition, strategic planning, and talent development, eventually led him to roles as president, CEO, board member and owner in the architectural engineering field.

He's focused on the development, coordination, and implementation of client-based business development strategies across all sectors and geographies. He works with our commercial, finance, leisure, technology, and other emerging client sector leaders, to grow our practice in North America as well as support and link client growth strategies in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

John enjoys working in teams, collaborating with peers, and building realistic and achievable strategies to deliver our business goals. He's passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of leadership.
