Courts Planner

“An architect is in the public service business, and as a public servant, I can think of no better building types to demonstrate that work than courthouses and government structures."

John is an architectural project manager who designs solutions for a wide range of clients and projects. He specialises in courts and Department of Homeland Security projects administered by the Corps of Engineers. A former leader in our Interiors practice, he brings a multidisciplinary understanding to integrating building systems that results in both functionally sound and aesthetically pleasing environments.

Armed with 29 years of working knowledge of architecture, including 16 years at HDR, John excels at providing conceptual design groundwork for the project teams that he leads. He loves his work, especially helping people resolve their space needs by creating concepts they may have never imagined, enhancing the experience, and ultimately making it easy for them. His background includes nearly a dozen furniture, fixture and equipment bid packages, and he is the author of a white paper titled, Furniture Procurement: An Owner’s Crib Sheet.
