Kerrie is a senior project architect committed to designing science and research environments that support innovation, collaboration, and community impact. With over two decades of experience designing cutting-edge laboratory and research facilities, Kerrie’s expertise spans diverse laboratory typologies that meet the evolving demands of research, education, health technology, and defence. Her design philosophy emphasises adaptable, cross-disciplinary spaces that foster scientific discovery while prioritising researcher wellbeing and operational efficiency.

Her portfolio includes landmark projects such as Macquarie University’s Physics, Astronomy, and Engineering (PAE) building, the AgriBio Centre for Biosciences, the University of Melbourne’s Brain Centre, the University of Adelaide’s Health and Medical Sciences Faculty, and Green Chemical Futures at Monash University. 

Passionate about mentoring the next generation of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), Kerrie champions dynamic, inclusive and creative research environments. She believes that laboratories are more than buildings — they are launchpads for discovery, innovation and societal impact.
