Leslie Tice, CEP

Environmental Director, Water

Leslie is the environmental director for our water practice. Based in our Walnut Creek, California, office, Leslie brings more than 23 years of experience working with environmental planners, biologists and cultural resource specialists, and scientists as well as engineers, managers and other leaders to assess our best technical approaches and to assist clients to meet their environmental requirements.

She leads state and federal environmental impact analyses, regulatory processes, environmental assessments and programs. Specifically, she advises on the National Environmental Policy Act, California Environmental Quality Act, Hawaii Environmental Policy Act and many others. She serves as a trusted advisor to her clients and our non-environmental team members to find the right solution. She acts as the environmental program lead to effectively integrate environmental considerations early in the planning and design processes.

Since joining us in 2017, Leslie has grown our environmental sciences practice in Northern California and developed our expertise in the water, wastewater, and water resource management markets as well as other cross sector markets in transportation and resource business groups. Her key clients include the Santa Clara Valley Water District, the Town of Paradise, and the City of Santa Cruz, California. She collaborates and exhibits a strong commitment to technical excellence and team thought and collaboration. She has presented on these topics both internally to our practice calls and with clients and in the industry. Leslie understands how to bring together the right people for each client, with the right skills and expertise. She instills a team-first attitude into everything we do.

Leslie has served as Chapter Director of the California Association of Environmental Professionals and as an elected board member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals, associations that have provided a foundation spanning the majority of her career.
