Western Sydney University Bankstown City Campus

WSU Bankstown Student Hub

Western Sydney University Bankstown City Campus

The new Bankstown City Campus is an opportunity for Western Sydney University to create a benchmark, world-class learning, education and research facility within the Bankstown CBD.

As part of WSU’s Western Growth Strategy, the new technology-rich campus is set  to create a vertical and inclusive learning and research environment that promotes direct engagement between students, staff, other campuses, WSU partners and the Bankstown local community. The BCC is set to transform the city center, elevate WSU as a university of choice, and provide for future student growth.

Relocating the majority of the functions from the existing Milperra Campus, the new facility will accommodate up to 10,000 students, rivalling the size of WSU’s Parramatta Campus. The new campus will grow Canterbury-Bankstown’s status as an education and health precinct, and make tertiary education more accessible for the local community. WSU and the local council will play an active role in helping the next generation of graduates to gain employment by ensuring students are ‘job-ready’ for the roles on offer in a changing Western Sydney economy.
