A New Civic Experience for Hays County

Hays County Eastside Campus centralizes the County's various departments in one convenient place where residents and staff can work, gather and engage with one another in a comfortable, efficient and community-oriented setting. Housed in a mass timber facility, the building emphasizes sustainability, natural light and a connection to Hays County, offering the community a revitalized civic experience.

A Space Inspired by Home 

The design draws inspiration from the comfort and familiarity of a living room. Whether nearby residents are coming in for tax services or to renew vehicle registration, the design features an open layout that favors both comfort and efficiency, providing a space for the community to easily navigate County resources in a familiar setting. Strategic furniture placement and varied typologies create a home-like environment, while mass timber interiors and clerestory windows strengthen the connection to the outdoors and enhance user well-being.
