Two HDR Projects Named Finalists in Healthcare Design’s 2026 Interior Design Competition
Healthcare Design Magazine has recognized two HDR-designed projects as finalists in the 2026 Interior Design Competition, which honors excellence and innovation in healthcare interior environments.
The Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours Children’s Hospital is a finalist for its thoughtful approach to pediatric specialty care. Designed to support children and families through every stage of treatment, the institute creates a welcoming and uplifting environment through integrated play, family-centered spaces and carefully scaled treatment settings that help foster comfort, familiarity and emotional well-being.
Also recognized as a finalist, the Intermountain Primary Children’s Behavioral Health Center in Taylorsville unites multiple programs under one roof. The center was designed to support a full continuum of care for children and adolescents through spaces that emphasize safety, dignity, connection to nature and emotional well-being while helping reduce stigma around mental and behavioral healthcare.
The Healthcare Design Magazine Interior Design Competition recognizes projects that demonstrate innovation in healthcare interior architecture and design while advancing the patient, family and caregiver experience.
