Ports & Maritime
Ten Years to ENR’s Top 10
HDR celebrates its centennial in 2017 but our Ports & Maritime practice is much younger. We entered the market in 2006. And in the decade that followed, we earned a place on ENR’s Top 10 list for Maritime, ranking sixth in 2016.
We achieved this by sticking to the strengths that have made us successful in other markets: exceptional project management and technical staff, supported by comprehensive cross-sector professionals across the company and around the world.
Full Service, Greater Value
We offer significant experience planning and designing container terminals and have the top tier freight rail experts to complement. Our coastal engineering group provides world class design, analysis and modeling capabilities. And marine construction and design-build projects add depth to our portfolio, particularly in the Oil & Gas industry. Many of our project leaders bring firsthand experience as port operators. That means we have the practical knowledge to offer custom, smart and constructible solutions.
Curated Teams, Custom Solutions
For many of our clients, our approach makes the difference. It’s an approach tailored to each project and informed by our full suite of support services. We have more than 30 economics and finance experts so we can help clients add value and obtain funding. And solutions that reduce life-cycle costs and improve resiliency inform everything we do.
