Big Builds and Bold Ideas

Excitement filled the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in September as the inaugural Converge Expo 2025 brought together construction innovators and professionals from the region. While the event delivered inspiration at every turn, the spotlight was on the Major Projects Stage.

Showcasing the people and projects shaping the built environment, the conference provided a platform for industry professionals and project leaders to share lessons from Australia's most ambitious builds and the key themes influencing the sector.

Kevin Miller, technology, media and telecommunications director for the Asia-Pacific region at HDR, took the stage at the conference to share insights from his career in design, engineering and construction.
