Based in Kansas City, Phil brings a thoughtful, design-forward approach to stadiums and training and performance environments. Combining technical rigor with creative vision, he delivers impactful, client-centered solutions for athletes and communities. His experience spans a wide range of project types and scales, including stadium renovations and expansions, athletics and training facilities, recreation and wellness centers and campus master plans.
Phil is instrumental in advancing both project delivery and market growth for the sports and recreation design practice, collaborating closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams across all phases of design and construction. His commitment to strong relationships and clear storytelling ensures each project reflects a distinct vision and purpose.
Beyond his project work, Phil is an active leader within the architecture and design community. He has been involved with AIA Kansas City since 2020 and served as Advocacy Committee Chair in 2022, helping advance initiatives that support the profession and the built environment. He is also a member of the AIA Kansas City Pillars Class of 2024 and was recognized as one of the Kansas City Business Journal's 20 to Know honorees, reflecting his growing influence and leadership within the industry
