Rachael is dedicated to helping healthcare organizations create environments that support healing, dignity and improved outcomes. With expertise spanning healthcare simulation, strategic planning, campus master planning and behavioral health design, she brings a data-informed and human-centered approach to complex healthcare challenges. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside healthcare leaders to develop solutions that strengthen care delivery, improve patient experiences and support long-term community well-being.
At HDR, Rachael partners with healthcare organizations to shape the future of behavioral healthcare through client strategy, medical planning, project leadership and business development. She is known for her ability to navigate complex challenges, build trusted relationships and help clients think beyond individual facilities to strengthen systems of care. Passionate about collaboration and mentorship, she works across disciplines to develop innovative solutions that respond to both current needs and future opportunities.
Over the course of her career, Rachael has led healthcare planning and design initiatives across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Her experience includes partnerships with leading academic medical centers, health systems, government agencies and community-based providers focused on behavioral health and integrated care. Prior to joining HDR, she served in a global leadership role advancing behavioral health strategy and design. She was recognized as one of Building Design+Construction's 40 Under 40 and received the Herman Miller Healthcare Scholarship.
