Homage to Omaha — Kiewit HQ

Senior Structural Engineer John Savage, S.E., P.E., discusses one of our iconic projects, Kiewit’s new corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. The seven-story, 180,000-square-foot steel-framed building was intentionally designed to foster collaboration and interaction, and reflects Kiewit’s values of honesty, strength and flexibility. In the article John discusses the beautiful design elements of the building, steel framed pedestrian skywalk through to the clever cantilevers and trusses used, in a project that reaffirms the company’s commitment to Omaha and Nebraska.
