University of Melbourne Student Precinct

In response to a shortlisted design competition, HDR led a team comprising McBride Charles Ryan, Kosloff Architecture, Architecture Architecture, WoWoWa, Sibling Architecture and Rush Wright Landscape Architecture to design the University of Melbourne's new student precinct.

The new precinct would make a significant contribution to the transformation of the on-campus student experience at Parkville by delivering a world-class student hub for the whole campus community. The student precinct would be a vibrant centre of activity that co-locates student services and activities closer to the new heart of the campus, and to primary transport links.

Co-creation would be the cornerstone of this initiative with thousands of students actively contributing and playing a part in the decision-making process.
