Transit Lead
Northwest U.S.

“Being a leader in today’s transit industry requires personal strength, connection, strategic thinking, motivation to learn, willingness to admit you don’t know everything and most of all, a passion for sharing knowledge with your team.”

With more than two decades on major transit infrastructure projects across the Puget Sound area, Justin brings extensive experience through all phases of the project lifecycle. He has served as a train maintenance manager, rail vehicle engineer, final design lead and construction manager for major systems and civil construction projects. Justin also understands the significance of effective civil/systems integration, detailed design development, and early implementation of detailed building information modeling final design to minimize impacts and changes in construction.

Serving as our northwest transit lead, Justin’s primary technical focus has been in transit design, construction, testing and commissioning, and operations and maintenance. He directs the day-to-day management of contracts, working closely with clients and our staff to ensure high-quality work products and services are delivered for the people of the Pacific Northwest. Justin prides himself on being a problem solver and consensus builder who takes a holistic approach to managing risk on transit megaprojects. His direct style and willingness to tackle tough subjects head-on gives clients and contractors confidence in his leadership.

Justin is a member of three American Public Transportation Association committees: the Light Rail Technical Forum, the Research & Technology Committee and the Rolling Stock Equipment Technical Forum.
