Brian Hoppy, CEP

As our director of cross sector services, Brian has more than 25 years of experience administrating and managing contracts, advising senior client managers, and assisting clients with complex, first-of-a-kind projects and programs. He oversees a global practice of more than 2,500 technical professionals providing data acquisition, data solutions, economics, environmental sciences and planning, geotechnical, right of way, strategic communications, sustainability and resiliency, and urban design and planning services. His technical specialties include National Environmental Policy Act compliance, natural and cultural resources planning services, and environmental policy.

Brian provides corporate oversight on all aspects of operations, administration and marketing for all of our cross sector services and helps our cross sector leaders anticipate changing client requirements and the technical excellence needed to support our clients.

As the HDR Foundation Board of Directors chair, Brian oversees and guides all aspects of our employee-funded, employee-driven and employee-sponsored HDR Foundation activities and grant-making. The goal of the HDR Foundation is to improve the communities where we live and work through focus areas that mirror our breadth of knowledge and expertise — education, healthy environments and environmental stewardship.
