John McPherson

John is a vice president and professional associate over 30 years of industry experience. His responsibilities range from technical support, quality oversight and best practices development to project guidance and principal-level program and project management.

His experience includes transportation planning and environmental analysis for transportation projects. He is well-versed in transportation environmental issues and analysis techniques and has worked on and managed a variety of projects for cities, counties, and state departments of transportation. His responsibilities have included managing staff, subconsultants, and budgets; technical analysis and writing; and public and agency involvement.

With considerable experience in local, state, and federal laws and regulations, he has the ability to take projects from the planning stage through environmental clearance. His background includes major environmental impact statements and environmental assessments for highway, airport and maritime projects, transportation plans and studies, planning environmental linkage studies, city and borough comprehensive plans, coastal management plans, and other land use and environmental studies.
