Kevin Henry, P.Eng

Kevin is a business and technology leader who emphasizes people, team dynamics, knowledge, and craft. At HDR, he provides direction and support to the Canada building engineering services team from our Toronto office.

He brings over two decades of experience, having performed many roles in building design and construction across several project categories. His technical expertise is founded in the design, project management, and construction contract administration for multiple project types, and his portfolio includes data centres, hospitals and care facilities, laboratories, museums, libraries, office buildings, transit, and industrial facilities. 

Kevin leverages this experience to sustain and grow the team, delivering dynamic and responsive engineering and project management services. The team is home to several areas of excellence, including data centres, mass timber, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). He regularly revisits the team’s strategic plan and initiatives to maintain clarity of purpose and vision.

His focus is on building a world-class team of professionals. He brings curiosity, empathy and a solutions‑oriented approach to every engagement. By modeling respectful collaboration, he helps nurture a culture of trust and support for his team and clients alike.
