HDR Achieves Gold Standard Supplier Status on NHS Framework in UK
HDR has achieved Gold Standard Supplier Status on the National Health Service Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy & Ancillary Services (HPCCAS) Framework, a recognition of our firm as a trusted partner to NHS and public sector clients throughout the U.K.
As an appointed supplier on this framework, HDR provides clients with access to our specialist healthcare planning and design expertise to support the delivery of inclusive, resilient and future-focused facilities across new build, refurbishment and wider construction projects.
“Achieving this status is a significant milestone for our U.K. Health practice and reflects the depth of expertise our team brings to complex healthcare environments,” said Alex Newman-Burke, health principal at HDR. “As models of care continue to evolve, we recognize the need to combine evidence-based design with a focus on wellbeing, adaptability and long-term outcomes to create flexible, future-focused spaces to meet the needs of our communities.”
The Gold Standard is an independent recognition of procurement excellence, providing assurance that frameworks within the NHS SBS Construction & Estates portfolio align with best-practice procurement principles and the Construction Playbook. It also reflects the growing importance of sustainability, social value and Net Zero ambitions across the public sector, while supporting fair and transparent competition and long-term collaborative relationships between clients and suppliers.
“As we continue to grow our UK practice, building strong relationships across the NHS and wider public sector is an important part of our strategy,” said Rachael Patel, managing principal at HDR. “Gold Standard Supplier Status gives clients confidence in the quality and capability of our team, and reinforces our commitment to best-practice delivery, collaboration and exceptional outcomes.”
