Dan Friedman Promoted to Federal Business Class Director
Dan Friedman, RA, LEED BD+C, has been promoted to federal business class director.
A technical expert with over 25 years of experience, Friedman is passionate about solving complex technical problems while maintaining the designer's unvarnished vision.
In this role, Friedman will maintain a knowledge base of the various federal and defense contractual service requirements and procedures to effectively deploy HDR's business class experts to add value to its federal project teams.
"My goal is to elevate the federal business class to a higher level by ensuring our project teams have the necessary training, experience, certifications, credentials, clearance, and relationships to deliver exceptional design services to our federal clients and maintain our competitive edge," Friedman said.
"As a technical expert in federal architecture, Dan will work alongside our teams to ensure excellence and consistency across capabilities, knowledge, skills, and processes. His work will help bolster HDR's strong foundation and deliver value for our federal clients, capture new opportunities, and enable continued growth," said HDR Director of Federal Architecture Susana Erpestad. "We are excited to welcome Dan to this key role as we continue to provide meaningful Architecture design services for the community."
HDR's federal business class comprises design subject matter experts and professionals who understand each federal agency's various contractual and delivery nuances. Together, they are an integral component guiding HDR's design teams to successfully serve clients and obtain positive evaluation scores, which helps to secure more work with those agencies in the future.
"Dan's extensive experience delivering complex federal projects and understanding of the network of federal delivery experts within HDR is exactly what this role demands," said HDR Architecture Professional Services Director Chris Bormann. "He is a respected, proven leader within HDR, and I look forward to seeing how he shapes and grows this cadre of diverse delivery experts to support federal projects worldwide."
