After 22 years in the public transportation industry, Jennifer Mustar has been selected to serve as HDR's South Carolina area manager.

In her new role, Mustar will support local managers in implementing and monitoring area operations including marketing, project services, quality and client relations. She will also facilitate and encourage staff communication, training and career development.

"I'm excited to collaborate with exceptional teams, gain insights into their objectives and play a pivotal role in fostering growth and the successful delivery of projects," Mustar said.

During her HDR career, Mustar has held key roles such as bridge engineer, project manager and client manager. Within the industry, she has worked on diverse portfolios including streetscapes, bridge replacements and major interstate projects like the I-85/I-385 interchange. She most recently made a significant impact serving as Greenville office principal, spearheading the growth of that office from a mere two employees to a team of 40.

"Jennifer will bring great enthusiasm and energy as the new area manager," said Ben Edelen, HDR Southeast regional director of operations. "This is an exciting opportunity for us to proactively attend to South Carolina's unique needs and challenges while meeting the ever-increasing demand for our services."

The South Carolina area includes nearly 200 HDR staff in offices in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Rock Hill. HDR's diverse teams perform a broad range of services for public and private sector clients.
