Paul Jones

Paul, located in our London, U.K., office, is the commercial and real estate lead for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He has 20 years of consultancy experience, with a strong focus on the British commercial development market.  

He began his career in 2005 as a graduate in the mechanical engineering team at a small consultancy based outside of London, progressing and growing with the business; ultimately serving as a board director for four years before leaving in 2018. His time in a smaller firm instilled a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset that continues to shape his approach today.

Paul subsequently joined a large, global engineering consultancy practice in 2018, initially as a project director and a team lead before being promoted to a national leadership role and, most recently, to a position within the markets team. There, he led a multidisciplinary team focused on business development, work winning and project delivery in the residential sector. He joined HDR in 2025 to apply his experience to strengthen our market position, support continued growth and build upon the work already delivered across the region.
