HDR Appoints Mike Coleman to Lead Company Integration Efforts
HDR has selected Mike Coleman as the company’s corporate development director. His role focuses on acquisitions and integration.
Coleman, a senior vice president who most recently served as the company’s water practice director for 17 states and Canada, will lead teams in identifying opportunities, assessing strategic fit, and driving the successful integration of organizations joining HDR.
HDR has acquired approximately 70 firms within the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry since becoming 100% employee owned in 1996. Those procurements have included deals in the energy, transportation, water and healthcare sectors, as well as cross-sector services where HDR is a recognized leader.
“Mike has a strong track record leading both operations and client development efforts and driving growth across the entire Central region,” said Greg Stonehouse, HDR’s chief strategy officer. “He has regularly assisted in growth and risk management efforts in areas across the U.S., and we look forward to his strategic leadership in driving our long-term growth priorities.”
Coleman is a licensed professional engineer and land surveyor with more than 30 years of industry experience. He has a bachelor’s and master’s in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming.
