Alex Medina

Alex leads our business development and identifies and supports projects in Canada across the power and industrial markets. With a deep understanding of all parts of the project lifecycle, Alex serves as a trusted adviser for clients and helps align our expertise with their needs.

He has more than 25 years of experience in business development and design experience for the power and industrial markets, with a special focus in renewable energy, thermal generation and power plants. An electrical engineering technologist by trade, Alex has grown his expertise to include interfacing with diverse project stakeholders, like regulatory agencies, communities and clients. He is proficient in contract negotiations, community engagement, corporate relations and partnership management.

Alex is dedicated to giving back. He founded the Medina Family Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on advocacy, education and assistance for women while promoting empowerment and self-love. He also serves on the board of directors for Volunteer Canada, which helps increase the participation, equity and diversity of volunteer experiences in the country.
