Brian Bakke, P.E.
Biogas Practice Lead, Water
Brian is broadly skilled in wastewater treatment, including assessing existing wastewater facilities utilizing cogeneration systems. He has led projects that implemented cogeneration systems and assessed other biogas uses at facilities throughout the Midwest and across our company.
Brian holds a bachelor's degree in biological systems engineering and a master's degree in environmental engineering, both from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a recognized leader in biological nutrient removal and considered an expert with BioWin and other modeling programs.
Very active in the industry’s professional organizations, he has authored or co-authored articles for the Water Environment Research Foundation and Industrial Wastewater magazine, and has presented numerous papers at the Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibit and Conference and other regional conferences.
