Edward Strong

Edward leads the technical execution of complex substation and power delivery projects in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Africa, guiding junior engineers, maintaining quality and collaborating closely with project managers to solve problems.

He has extensive experience with the design, construction and delivery of grid, battery energy storage and data center substations. He has a strong background in designing retrofit and new customer connection substation projects within the London Power Network region. He led a multidisciplinary team in the electrical design, construction and commissioning of a 120-megawatt substation supplying a high-profile data center in North London. His portfolio also includes major substation projects for other data centers and battery energy storage system developments in Scotland.

Edward has a bachelor of engineering degree from the University of Aberdeen and a master of science degree from the University of Strathclyde.
