Michael has over 20 years of experience working on federal, state and private client projects related to energy, water and natural resource management.
He uses his unique training as both a biologist and a lawyer to address resource issues in a scientifically and legally defensible manner. With his training, he is able to navigate the myriad of regulatory requirements applying ecological knowledge to planning and compliance efforts, navigating natural resource laws such as the National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Mike is the vice president of the Minnesota Association of Environmental Professionals.
