Rona Spellecacy, CEP, AICP
Senior Environmental Planner
Rona is a senior environmental planner and project manager based in Seattle. She excels at leading large, multidisciplinary teams and has managed projects with fees exceeding $3 million. She served as project manager for the Shell Anacortes Rail Unloading Facility Environmental Impact Statement and environmental manager for the SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Program.
Rona received her MA in political science and environmental studies from Western Washington University, and holds BA degrees in biology and anthropology from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. She is a member of the American Planning Association and holds certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Environmental Professionals, and is a Certified Environmental Professional by the Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals. She has been recognized by HDR as a Professional Associate for her demonstrated commitment to quality and technical excellence.
Her current roles include Northwest Region Environmental Science and Planning Lead, and Operations Lead for our Seattle office.
